The western territories became states in the 1900s. Since moving to the west in 1999, I have lived in Nevada and New Mexico. I am intrigued by the history of the west. Initially, I began with a series of photographs from different trips in the west. Now I am doing artistic photos from the west using different techniques. Some include digital watercolors, others are digital paintings of parts of a photograph with the purpose of emphasizing the western aspect of a photograph. I hope you enjoy this new series.
